The practical details
How much does it cost?
Rooms £40, staircases £40, hallways £20 and landings £20, stain removal priced by the area treated. The minimum charge is £80 per visit. Your price is fixed before we arrive, locked for 14 days, and you pay after the clean.
How long will my carpets take to dry?
Walkable in 30–90 minutes. Full drying takes 2–4 hours depending on the pile and the weather, which still means walking on your carpets and living in the room the same day.
What areas do you cover?
All of Essex and East London, from Basildon, Chelmsford and Southend to the surrounding towns and villages.
Are quotes free?
Always. Every quote is free, there is no obligation to book, and the fixed price we give you is locked for 14 days while you decide, whether you asked by phone or through the form.
What are your hours of operation?
Phone lines are open Monday to Friday 9am–5pm, Saturday 10am–4pm. Cleaning teams can work outside these hours for commercial contracts.
Do you clean delicate and antique pieces?
Yes, carefully. Wool carpets get gentle, fibre-safe handling, with dyes and fibres tested in a hidden spot first. If a piece isn't safe to wet clean, we say so.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major cards, bank transfer (BACS) and cash. You pay after the clean, once you've seen the results.
Are your cleaning products safe for children and pets?
Yes. We use professional solutions to the manufacturer's instructions and rinse them back out as we go, so as soon as everything is dry the rooms are back to normal for children and pets, sensitive skin included.
Are you registered and insured?
Yes. £5 million public liability cover, and every technician is trained, vetted and uniformed. The certificate is available on request.
How does the quoting work?
Two ways. Call 01268 225511 and you'll have your fixed price before you hang up, or send the form and your fixed price is emailed within 5 minutes, day or night. We then ring during opening hours to book you in. Larger commercial jobs sometimes need a quick site visit first.
Do you take on commercial work?
Yes. Schools, offices, landlords and property managers across Essex and East London use us for contract and one-off work alike, with RAMS on request for any site that needs them and cleans scheduled around your opening hours.
